Clustering of Stochastic Processes from Request Streams for Workload Modeling and Synthetic Generation
Towards autonomous distributed storage systems
We are working on building improved distributed storage systems (object stores, file systems, key-value stores). Our work is mostly focused on dynamic and autonomic methods that can be used by storage systems to maximize performance as the workload changes, adapting to client demands. Microbiological, sensorial and spectral study of cacao bean fermentation
Improving cacao flavour can be done controlling the fermentation process, in this project we study how to improve the fermentation process using new technologies. Team: Juan Cevallos,Daniel Ochoa, Ronald Criollo,Owaldo Bayona
Design and construction of a CNC machine for ship prototiping
This project explore the possibilities of CNC machine construction using opensource software. Team: Jorge Magallanes, Ronald Ponguillo, Manuel Helguero
Non-destructive imaging and GC-MS based metabolomics for diagnosis of black sigatoka disease in pre-symptomatic banana leaves
The aim of the project is to detect optical and metabolic changes related to early onset of sigatoka disease. Funded by VLIR. Team: Daniel Ochoa, Juan Cevallos, German Vargas,Dennis Romero
